read moreThis support group is for couples/individuals who have experienced miscarriage or perinatal loss. No one should go through grief alone. While time helps many of the symptoms of grief, the support of another person provides additional strength. It can help to talk with a trusted family member about the symptoms of grief and ways to manage them but many times talking to others who have experienced the same kind of loss can be more healing. Susan Rizzato, Behavioral Health Specialist with Fertility Centers of Illinois, has extensive experience as a perinatal loss counselor and has facilitated a long-standing support group for patients, over the past 9 years. If you have any questions or concerns on the day of the event, please call 312.222.8230 and reference the Pregnancy Loss Support Group.
