In this retreat, you will learn to apply secular mindfulness and self-compassion practices to alleviate the symptoms and resolve the issues causing the stress. This retreat is appropriate for people suffering from anxiety or depression. Recommend to attend Mindfulness Foundation Course or MBSR before going on this retreat for better results. She is the founder and CEO of Brahm Centre - a registered charity dedicated to promoting happier and healthier living. She is a qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher and is certified to teach mindfulness to teens and children. She teaches the "An Undefeated Mind" course for students at the National University of Singapore and is also a Ministry of Education registered mindfulness teacher. Angie has conducted mindfulness courses for more than 10,000 people including corporate clients from the financial, healthcare and education sectors. Prior to her joining Brahm Centre, she served in senior positions at Singapore Airlines, Visa International, Accenture, Hewlett-Packard and government agencies. Retreat Package: $1,140 (Twin-Sharing) includes: $770 Course Fee and $370 for Room with Breakfast, Lunch on 22-24 Dec SkillsFuture credits can be applied to the Course Fee If you have a roomate, please indicate his/her name during registration. Otherwise, you will be matched with a same-gender roommate or the option upgrade if you don't have a partner is $250 for a single room One night extension on 20 Dec or 25 Dec: $170/night per room with breakfast only (subject to availability) Limo one way to resort is 2,500 Baht (book directly with the resort) or a shared van will be arranged at $40 per person each way What is not included? Air ticket, airport-hotel transfer, dinner and other personal incidentals Shared van from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport leaving at 1pm for the resort is available - S$35 per person CANCELLATION POLICY: - ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, but you may transfer this booking to a friend should you not be able to attend. You will receive an Eventbrite Order Confirmation PDF, which you can then use to upload on the SFC website to make your claim submission.
