Holiday Gift Collective brings together seven East Bay female artisans in Lafayette, CA
San Francisco, CA – With a global pandemic and wave of fires, many small businesses have shuttered under the conditions, while others have united in finding new ways to sustain themselves and support their local communities through their crafts.
Contra Costa County recently moved into Tier 2, allowing for the return of indoor retail shopping under state guidelines. The artisans and women behind Holiday Gift Collective are thrilled at the opportunity to safely showcase their goods and boost their local economy just in time for the holidays.
The idea for Holiday Gift Collective was born from the shared values of each of the participating artisans as well as from the #shoplocal movement which encourages people to invest in their communities with the goal of strengthening the economy. Holiday Gift Collective is a union in support of community and equality, and will offer home goods, jewelry, gourmet foods, and more.
In addition to continuing to pave the path for aspiring female entrepreneurs, Holiday Gift Collective hopes to encourage the community to work together in the fight against climate change. Brands such as Planet Renu, SIP, and Hofssi Chocolates will be presenting a variety of eco-friendly and ethically sourced products. Joining the list of green businesses will be Hollie's Homegrown, a local organic herb farm on a mission to create the highest quality herbal food and body products. All together, they will provide Holiday Gift Collective customers with unique and special gift options that reduce our carbon-footprint.

Located at 3539 Plaza Way, Lafayette, CA, the pop-up will run Sunday, Nov. 1 through the end of the holiday season from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Local guest artisans will be featured on a rotating basis.

NEU: DIY Workshop Weben
Alles erfährt irgendwann seine DIY-Renaissance - so auch das klassische Weben, das dieses Jahr in Form von moderrnen "Wall Hangings" (= Wand-Teppiche) überall in den sozialen Medien zu sehen ist. Zurecht, denn Weben geht schnell, einfach und macht verdammt viel Spaß, wenn man mal seinen eigenen Rhythmus gefunden hat! Darum biete ich diesen After-Work Weben Workshop an, bei dem du deine Hände Bahn für Bahn entspannen und am Ende ein kleines Kunstwerk mit nach Hause nehmen kannst!
Der DIY Weben Workshop folgt keinem klassischen Workshop-Schema sondern es stehen dabei das gemeinsame Machen, der Austausch untereinander und die Inspiration von Anderen im Vordergrund. Zu Beginn werden die technischen Grundlagen sowie Tipps & Tricks zum Weben von kleinen Web-Teppichen vermittelt. Du lernst von mir Techniken wie Twists, Zöpfe und Fransen, wie du Muster und Farben am besten kombinierst und worauf du dabei achten solltest. Danach heißt es: ran an die Wollen und Webrahmen!
Der Kurs ist sowohl für Anfänger als auch für Fortgeschrittene geeignet.

Der Workshop wird von unseren Partnern idee.Creativmarkt und Rico Design unterstützt.

Ist meine Registrierung/mein Ticket übertragbar?Ja, bitte teile mir den Namen der Person mit die stattdessen am Workshop teilnehmen wird. So kommt es zu keinen Verwechslungen.
Wie sehen die Rückerstattungsbedingungen aus?Die Teilnahmegebühr wird bei einer Stornierung nicht erstattet. Wenn der Gastgeber den Termin absagt (das passiert hoffentlich nicht!), erhältst du jedoch die volle Rückerstattung.

Monthly payment plans will be due as follows (does not include any other purchases such as travel insurance, pre and post bookings, etc.) and paid by credit card:
Completed cruise booking deposit ($1000 per person) by credit card, with a credit of the $200 registration fee collected here.
Remaining Cruise Balance will be divided by number of months in 2019 and payments auto charged each month on the 15th beginning the month after you register. Final Cruise Balance will be fully paid no later than 12/15/2019.
Standard cruise payments will be due as follows (does not include any other purchases such as travel insurance, pre and post bookings, etc.) and paid by credit card:

Payment due on April 15, 2019 equal to 1/3 of remaining balance after initial deposit

NOTE: If you are registered after April 15, the payment dates passed will need to be paid with your deposit.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
All payments made are non-refundable at the time of payment. Guests are urged to purchase Travel Insurance when your deposit is made to offset this risk. Our travel agent will be offering this to all our guests as an option when you make your deposit.
NOTE: In the event that you cannot attend, you can transfer your reservation for a fee of $200 per person. The monetary arrangements are between you and the person taking your place. We can pick up payments, if mid payment year, for a transfer.
What this means:
When you make any payment – the registration fee, completed $1000 deposit, monthly payments, or the three payments standard plan, that money is not refundable.
For example, if you pay your registration fee here and you cancel prior to completing your deposit, you will lose the $200 registration fee.
For example, if you pay your registration fee here, make your cruise booking deposit and you cancel prior to your first regular due payment, you will lose the registration fee and the entire cruise booking deposit.
For example, if you pay the registration fee here, make your cruise booking deposit and one of the monthly payments, you will lose the registration fee, cruise booking deposit and first month's payment.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By registering, you understand and accept the following terms.
I understand that all prices are PER PERSON, based on double occupancy, and include administrative costs, taxes, gratuities, port charges and fees FOR THE CRUISE.
I understand that my registration here is for TWO people in a cabin, unless I register for a single cabin or indicate otherwise in the questions provided in the registration process. ONE registration is ONE cabin for TWO people.
I will be responsible for the cruise booking deposit within 7 business days once the cruise is confirmed, based on my total cruise payment choice (see above). If my cruise booking deposit is not received in 7 business days, my registration will be cancelled and my registration fee is non refundable.
My credit card will be charged by AMA WATERWAYS when I pay the deposit and all future invoices. These payments are for Rick Braun's River Cruise Getaway ONLY (i.e. the seven day cruise on the AmaCello).
I understand that I will be responsible for all other fees for travel to and from the ship and any other activities I chose to do while on this trip. NOTE: we will offer transfers and additional pre and post cruise hotel/activities, for an additional fee. These will be available about 12 months before the cruise is to sail.
All fees are nonrefundable, but can be used by another person. See specific payment terms above.

SAP Center has designated seats for both wheelchair accessible seating and their companions. However, due to size constraints, companion seats will not fit a wheelchair.
