Successful completion of the course, passing a multi-choice assessment paper and a workplace-based project, leads to a nationally recognised qualification in the basics of managing health and safety.

Over 7 modules, the course covers all the main health and safety issues, concentrating on dealing with workplace hazards and carrying out risk assessments. The course also emphasises to delegates the importance of having a positive H&S culture throughout the business with leadership from the top being key to achieving a safe working environment.

Cancellation Policy We need to secure bookings and commit to delivery of events in advance so any late cancellations or no-shows will incur costs - please note that we will follow the FST's cancellation policy instead of the one specified by Eventbrite.
For paid events:
Any cancellation made within 10-3 working days of the course will incur a charge of 75% of the course fee, you will also be given the option to transfer the ticket to another party.
Any cancellation made within three days of the start of the event or no-show on the day will still be charged the full cost of the course, you will also be given the option to transfer the ticket to another party.
For free events:
A non-attendance fee may be charged if you book a place at an event but do not attend on the day.
Event CancellationIf an Event is cancelled, postponed or relocated, by FST, you will be offered (subject to availability) to attend a rescheduled Event, the same Event at an alternative location or another Event up to the face value of the Booking price or, if you are unable to attend any of the former, a refund. FST will not be liable for any loss, claim, damage, or any incidental or consequential damages of any kind, which arises out of or is in any way connected with an Event or Booking cancellation, postponement, relocation or other change. Without limiting the previous provision, travel expenses will not be reimbursed by FST.
