The Box Office is open 3 hours prior to the start of an event, located at the southwest corner of the Climate Pledge Arena Grounds at 1st & Thomas. It is open 2 hours prior to an event on Day Of Show for will call and sales for that day's performance only. We are a paperless venue and tickets will be sent via text. Parking - The 1st Ave N Garage is located 1 block south of Climate Pledge Arena. It is fully accessible with easy access to Climate Pledge Arena. Street parking & pay lots are also available but not as conveniently located. Drop Off - All Main Entrance doors to Climate Pledge Arena are accessible. The West entrance is the most convenient for drop off. 1st Ave N directly runs in front of the facility. Drop off location for the East entry is about 1/2 block away from Climate Pledge Arena at 2nd and Thomas. Entry - For most events, the West, South and East doors are open for entry.

"Exploration" Art Exhibit at BIG ARTS

Members of the Sanibel-Captiva Art League are proud to present their 45th Annual Juried Art Show (“Exploration”) in concert with the Art Council of SW Florida. This eclectic, multi-media exhibit will occupy the Dunham Family Gallery of BIG ARTS at 900 Dunlop Rd. in Sanibel, from December 17, 2020, through January 31, 2021. Hours for viewing are Tu-F, 10-4pm, and Sundays, 9-1pm. The gallery show will also be available as a virtual exhibit starting December 21, 2020. Each year, the Annual Juried Show features innovative art works with subjects both abstract and representational, covering themes both unusual and familiar. Working in a variety of media, including two- and three-dimensional pieces, some of the best artists in Florida have produced works to delight and intrigue the viewer. Plan to explore this exceptional exhibit of original art created by members of the San-Cap Art League and the Art Council of SW Florida. Educator, writer, popular presenter, juror and artist Barbara Anderson Hill is the judge for this show. A resident of Sanibel during the 1970s and 80s, Hill was one of the founders of BIG ARTS. She owned and operated a pottery school on the island and was adjunct professor at Edison Community College, now Florida Southwestern. Hill has held numerous key positions at art and cultural institutions including grants and major gifts manager for the John and Mabel Ringling Museum of Art, Sarasota, and executive director of the Edison-Ford Winter Estates Foundation, Fort Myers. Consente ai bambini frequentanti, di trovare uno spazio e un tempo in cui divertirsi, iniziare al meglio la giornata scolastica (pre), decomprimere la tensione e la fatica accumulate nella giornata di scuola (post), trovarsi insieme a compagni di giochi ed amici, svolgere attività stimolanti permettendo loro di esprimere liberamente la propria carica emotiva, creativa e fisica. Il servizio di pre post rappresenta quindi, sia per i genitori che per i bambini una risorsa fondamentale, poiché permettono di caratterizzare il tempo extrascolastico come un “tempo di qualità” che completa l’offerta didattica e consente di prolungare il tempo a scuola, riqualificando il contesto e rendendolo un contenitore in grado di proporre attività stimolanti e divertenti all’interno di un luogo sicuro. Il servizio è attivo dal lunedì al venerdì coerentemente con il calendario scolastico.
