The Gótico Tapas Tour takes you through Barcelona’s famous Gothic Quarter, in the Ciutat Vella (old city) – past Roman walls, alongside cathedrals, through precious plazas and, most importantly, in-and-out of small local restaurants that will leave you sated, jolly, and with a better understanding of local Catalan and national Spanish cuisine.  Gótico was our first tour, is our first love, and remains a great traditional option in Barcelona’s most historic setting.  First time in Barcelona?  This is the one for you!  The low-down on our Barcelona tapas tour This is not a historical walking tour with a snack at the end. Our 3 hour tour stops in 3 small food establishments, ranging from high-quality specialty shops to home-style tapas restaurants, each one with its own scrumptious specialties for you to taste. Your knowledgeable guide will safely lead you, all the while sharing stories about Barcelona life, food and history. You will enjoy all the cuisine, and, due to the small size of the group, you will also enjoy a more personal, relaxed experience. Our tour groups are typically no larger than 6; meaning we can discreetly visit venues loved by locals and genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Mind the Product Engage returns to Manchester We're delighted to revisit Manchester for our second MTP Engage conference in February 2020! After a successful first MTP Engage Manchester last February, we’re bringing our dedicated product conference back in 2020. This time, we want to really focus on you, the product people who build amazing products and make Manchester proud. A recovering neuroscientist, then a spell as an elementary school teacher, Joe started his UX & product career 14 years ago. He has worked with big organisations like MoMa, Raspberry Pi, AO.com, Disney, eBay, and Marriott as well as helping to supercharge high growth businesses and startup. He is also a director and shareholder for a small portfolio of startups. Janna Bastow, Co-Founder of ProdPad Janna comes from a user-centric design background and has extensive experience building social web experiences. She founded ProductCamp London in 2010 in an effort to meet and learn from other product managers. As a product manager always looking for better tools, she co-founded ProdPad, product management software that helps you manage your roadmap and your product backlog. John Cutler, Product Evangelist, Amplitude John Cutler is keenly focused on user experience and evidence-driven product development.  He mixes and matches various methodologies to help teams deliver lasting outcomes for their customers. John currently works as a product evangelist at Amplitude. As a former UX researcher at AppFolio, a product manager at Zendesk, Pendo.io, AdKeeper and RichFX, a startup founder, and a product team coach, John has a perspective that spans individual roles, domains, and products.  Lauren Currie, Managing Director of NOBL and Founder of #UPFRONT   Lauren is a European designer and entrepreneur from Scotland. She lives in London and spends her time as MD of NOBL in the UK and Europe, and founder of #UPFRONT – an organisation dedicated to elevating and encouraging new voices on and off public stages around the world. Last year she was awarded an OBE for her services to design and diversity. Lauren’s new to the Mind the Product stage, but by no means new to delivering amazing talks! Melissa Perri, CEO, Produx Labs Melissa Perri is a Product Manager, UX Designer, and speaker based in New York City. As the CEO of ProdUX Labs, Melissa does strategy and training for product management teams globally. As a practitioner and a coach, Melissa enjoys finding the best processes for her clients while tackling their toughest product problems with the team. Her clients have included Spotify, Rovio, Valtech, Plated, Wayra UK, and Levo League and before becoming a consultant, Melissa worked as a Product Manager and UX Designer at Barclays Capital, OpenSky, Capital IQ, and Conductor.
