Clinical Lactation Practicum (free 2-day class for Texas WIC Staff) Begin at the Lactation Support Centers (LSC) in Austin, Dallas, or Houston then head over to the hospital. Day 1 - hospital, Day 2 - LSC clinic. Observing/shadowing RN, IBCLC. 2 pre-requisite classes.
NEW! Clinical Lactation Skills for RNs (1-day class, $75, geared towards RNs working in Maternal Child Health or a Baby Friendly Hospital, others considered). Held at the LSCs in Austin, Dallas, Houston and McAllen.

Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum registration numbers are not met. When 2 dates are offered for a 1-day class, we may combine the classes into one if registration numbers are low to allow for a better educational experience. The Principles of Lactation Management (POLM) and Lactation Counseling and Problem Solving (LCPS) classes will no longer be offered after June 2019.
