After Mindfulness: 10 Week Follow-On Course by Dr. Avinash Bansode

The Follow-On 10-week course is very suitable as the next step after completing the foundation eight-week course. These courses are for all those who are at an early stage in developing mindfulness, but it is also appropriate for those who want to support their ongoing development in mindfulness and take their practice, understanding and experience deeper. This follow-on training is intended for all participants who are willing and have already engaged in an eight-week mindfulness course with any teacher/organisation. The course will be a highly interactive, collaborative and participatory learning experience. Our intention is to create a group process that feels safe and trustworthy and an open, spacious learning environment, which will encourage spontaneity and creativity. We will take you systematically through the ten weeks and a weekend retreat into further training and experience in mindfulness-based practices and living. UCF’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Information Sessions are designed to help prospective BSN students understand the process and steps for applying to UCF's limited-access, upper-division BSN programs which include the Traditional, Second Degree, and Concurrent options. The online RN to BSN option will also be discussed. Attendees will learn about unique application requirements to practice and learn in clinical sites, prerequisite courses and grade requirements, and other helpful information. This information session is open to anyone interested in applying to UCF College of Nursing's BSN program. Attendance is not required of applicants, but it is encouraged. Attendees should plan to arrive early and stay for the entire presentation which will last about one hour followed by a question and answer session. There will be limited availability for one-on-one advising after the session. Please Note: Children are not permitted to attend these information sessions. Please plan accordingly.
