PetSmart Charities’ National Adoption Days are happening now! The foremost funder in animal welfare is hosting its final adoption event of the year and is partnering with nearly 4,000 animal welfare organizations across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico to help find loving homes for the millions of lost, abandoned and surrendered pets currently in the shelter system. During the September event, over 23,000 pets found their forever homes. With your help, we can help find homes for even more! IoPPN Denmark Hill Campus Tours

We would like to invite you to take a guided group tour of our Denmark Hill Campus, led by a King's student ambassador.  Please note that although this tour is open to Undergraduate visitors, the majority of courses taught on this campus are at Postgraduate level. For students interested in studying with the IoPPN at undergraduate level, we recommend attending a Guy’s Campus Tour. A Rubbish Trip: waste & environment themed walk, Isle of Dogs to Greenwich

Forget the hype: London is a rubbish city! Rejoice in the junk and wonder at the waste on this winding trail of muck and trash. On this 2 mile guided walk from the Docklands to Greenwich we'll pass historic dumps and landfills and hear the stories of castaway communities. We'll ponder the sounds and smells of the city's waste, past and present, and marvel at its transformation. The Rubbish Trip offers an alternative perspective on this part of London by linking together features of the landscape through the theme of rubbish. Tour goers will: find out about London’s rubbish – past, present and future – the characters involved in collecting it, and the marvellous methods of transforming it. explore a seldom-visited part of the capital – the Isle of Dogs – taking in such gems as Millwall Dock, Mudchute Park & Farm, Island Gardens with its spectacular views of the Royal Naval College, and the Greenwich Foot Tunnel. learn about the history of the area. end the tour by the river in Greenwich, with its rich collection of historic rubbish. It crosses a park that can be muddy, and goes up and down steps. Wear boots or sturdy shoes. Cancellation: We can't offer refunds but given enough notice we may be able to offer a place on another walk. Gift vouchers are available for this and other Dotmaker walks.
