Our open group lessons offer that perfect mix of individual attention in a team environment. Everyone improves and everyone has fun.With a low student-to-teacher ratio and low rates, our group surfing lessons are perfect for the solo traveler or for classmates, roommates, staff team-building, or memorable events. All you need to bring is yourself and your enthusiasm — we’ll do the rest.The group lesson is a great option for the beginner surfer. Students must be at least 13 years of age and older and must be able to swim. Students will be grouped together with a ratio of one (1) instructor for every four (4) students. World Handicap System Workshops 2019/2020 England Golf are working closely with The USGA and The R&A to help introduce the new single World Handicap System for the sport. Together with golf’s handicapping authorities they are developing a universal system which will apply all over the world. We are now ready to roll out the third round of World Handicap System educational workshops to golf clubs. These are scheduled to take place over the Autumn and Winter of 2019/2020 around England and will be hosted and presented by England Golf and the County. There are a maximum of 2 places available per club, so please consult wisely to ensure the most appropriate people are attending – with preference being given to the relevant handicap secretaries (men and women). Details of information already presented around WHS 2020 can be found at either www.whs.com or www.englandgolf.org/handicaps-rules/whs-2020/ for those who would like a refresh before the new workshops.
