In this 2 hour lesson, you will learn:
The differences between using circular needles and straight needles
How you can use just 1 circular needle to knit everything and anything
When to use different lengths of circular needles, and when the length doesn't matter
How to read a circular knitting pattern
How to cast-on stitches onto circular needles
How to knit flat pieces with circular needles
How to knit seamlessly, and continuously in the round with circular needles (e.g. seamless beanie cap)
How to knit in garter stitch using circular needles
How to knit in stockinette stitch using circular needles
By the end of the lesson, you will definitely be able to knit a simple cowl.
All knitting materials will be provided. If you have your own, feel free to bring them along.

What is "Advanced Knitting Series" about?
Lessons under the advanced knitting series are for those who already have the basic knitting skills and would like to take their skills up one step further. If you are interested to start learning how to knit, we do have a Knitting for Beginners class which would be more suitable for you, before you attend this one.
What is the minimum age requirement to attend this lesson?
This lesson is suitable for anyone age 10 years and above. The lesson will be conducted in English.
Where is the lesson venue?
We will have it at a comfortable cafe that is convenient for both of us. You need not order anything if you don't want to.
When will the lesson be?
Generally, we are only available on:
Weekday evenings, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (Monday to Thursday only)
Weekends, anytime between 8.30am to 9.00pm
As this is a private lesson, after you purchase a ticket, we will get in touch with you via email to arrange a date and time that works out for both of us, so please ensure that you provide the correct email address when you make payment.
How long is the lesson?
The lesson is 2 hours long.
Can I bring along a friend for this private class?
We only offer one-to-one instruction so that you will get the undivided attention of the instructor and be able to learn at a pace that is comfortable just for you.
Can I bring my child along?
As you will need to focus on the lesson, you are advised to make arrangements for your child so that you can attend the lesson on your own.
Can I bring my own circular knitting needles and yarn?
Sure! And please bring along the paper label that came with your yarn, if you still have it.

When purchasing tickets by phone or online, you may choose to pick them up at the Box Office Will Call window on the day of the show. Paycom Center's Box Office is located just off West Reno between the two main entrances on the north side of the arena. Currently, it is temporarily closed on non-event days. On event days, the Box Office is open at 12pm (noon) on Mondays-Saturdays, or four hours prior to the event time on Sundays. Some events may have additional hours.
Paycom Center meets or exceeds all structural and service requirements as stipulated by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Restrooms, drinking fountains, and concession counters are accessible to guests with disabilities. Additional services are listed below. Accessible Tickets/Seating: Wheelchair accessible seats are available in all price levels. Up to three companion tickets may be purchased with each wheelchair accessible ticket. Please indicate at the time of purchase if you require accessible seating. Accessible Drop-off: Passengers may be dropped off at Reno and Robinson near the northwest entrance to Paycom Center. Elevators: Elevators are located throughout the facility for wheelchair access to all levels. The elevators near Section 101, just inside the northwest entrance, provide access to the arena floor. Elevator on club level nearest Section 205. See the maps at the center of this guide for exact locations. Emergency Evacuation: Paycom Center staff members have been trained in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures. Key employees are assigned to assist patrons with disabilities to safety. Listening Devices: Listening devices may be rented free of charge at the Guest Relations Desks located at each of the main entrances. A credit card or check deposit, as well as a valid I.D., are required to ensure the return of equipment. Parking: Accessible parking is available in the parking lots on the south side of Paycom Center. Entrances are available on S.W. 3rd Street, east of Robinson. Accessible parking spaces are also available in the underground parking garage at the neighboring Prairie Surf Studios. See Parking for additional information. Service Animals: Trained guide dogs or service animals are permitted to assist guests inside the arena. If special accommodations are required for your service animal, please notify us at the time of your ticket purchase. All other animals are prohibited. Sign Interpreters: Guests who require interpreting services during an event, should contact the Guest Relations Manager by calling (405) 602-8700 within three weeks of the event. Telephones: Telephones are provided at Guest Relations locations and throughout Paycom Center, courtesy of Cox Communications. TDD machines and volume-enhanced phones are available. Wheelchair Assistance: Paycom Center offers wheelchair service for guests who may need assistance to and from their seats. Please contact a Guest Relations representative for assistance. Wheelchair assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the limited number of wheelchairs available, they may not be borrowed or rented as seating during the event. If wheelchair assistance becomes necessary during an event, please notify the nearest staff member.

I can't print off my tickets, can I still get into the show? If you are unable to print your tickets, you can simply show your e-tickets on your mobile phone. We will scan the barcode to allow you entry into the exhibition.
I can’t find my e-ticket/ I accidentally deleted the email containing my e-ticket. If you accidentally misplace your e-tickets, please contact us directly by emailing builditlive@castlemedia.co.uk. We will resend all confirmation emails before the event, as a reminder to our customers.
I’m trying to use a promotional code, but I can't see where to apply the code/It looks like I'm about to be charged for my tickets.Our promotional codes should be applied before selecting your tickets and proceeding with the order. There is a link in red at the top of the form, where the code needs to be applied. Once applied, the unlocked ticket will appear at the top of the list. Select it and then proceed to ‘Order Now’. If you have a code for free tickets, you will NOT be asked to input your credit card details.
I haven’t received my order confirmation email. How do I check I’m definitely booked? If you haven’t received your order confirmation email, please contact us on builditlive@castlemedia.co.uk and we will check your order. We resend all confirmation emails closer to the time, as a reminder to our customers.

How long do the seminars and workshops run for? Are they held in the same location and is it possible to attend all of them? Build It Live will feature 8 FREE daily seminars and 16 FREE daily workshops. Our seminars take place in the Seminar Theatre and take between 20 and 40 minutes each, including question time. The workshops take place in the Workshop Theatre, and take between 20 and 40 minutes, including question time. As the times of the workshops and seminars overlap in some instances, it is only possible to attend all sessions if you visit the show on both days (see below for details). You are welcome to attend as many of these sessions as you like.
Do I need extra tickets if I want to attend the show on both days? No, when you arrive on the first day, simply mention to the door staff that you wish to attend on both days and your ticket will be validated to allow free entry on the second day.
If I leave the exhibition, can I return later on? Yes, when you arrive or leave, simply mention to the door staff that you wish to re-enter and your ticket will be validated to allow this.
Do I need to book a seat for the seminars & workshops? Our seminar and workshop sessions cannot be booked and are first-come-first-served, so turn up early to ensure you get a seat!
Do I need to book a slot for the Ask Our Expert area? Yes, the Ask Our Experts area requires booking, as it is extremely popular with visitors. To book your time slot, head to the Ask Our Experts area early, where one of our staff members will be on hand to book you in!
How long does a trip to Build It Live take? Our exhibitions are designed to allow for a full day of activities. From browsing stalls, talking to experts and listening to specialists talk, Build It Live offers enough to keep you occupied. Our café also allows for regular refreshment breaks! However, for those in a hurry, it is possibly to plan your visit ahead of time, to ensure you make full use of the exhibition in a shorter space of time.
What time do the exhibitions open? Our shows open 10am until 5pm on Saturday and 10am until 4.30pm on Sunday.
Are children allowed at the shows? Yes, children under the age of 16 can attend the show Free of Charge, with a paying adult.
Are dogs allowed at the shows? Only registered Assistance Dogs will be admitted.
Are the shows wheelchair friendly? Yes, we pride ourselves on making sure our exhibitions are accessible for all our visitors. Wheelchair access is therefore available at all three of our shows.
