Visite inédite de la Collection iconique de mobiliers des arts décoratifs du Bon Marché Rive Gauche. Depuis 2012, le Bon Marché Rive Gauche soutient l'art et la culture à travers l'acquisition de pièces qui ont marqué l'histoire du design. Chaque pièce de mobilier est soigneusement sélectionnée pour son édition d’origine, son histoire unique, ses matériaux nobles et sa forme remarquable. Exposée dans les différents univers du magasin, la Collection Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche - Design compte aujourd’hui une centaine de pièces datées de 1930 à 2017. À travers ce prarcours découvrez les grands designers du XXe siècle. Cette visite est l’occasion de revenir sur les origines du design et l’histoire de son évolution stylistique depuis les mouvements fondateurs du début du XXe siècle. Our 3 hour tour stops in 3 small food establishments, ranging from high-quality specialty shops to home-style tapas restaurants, each one with its own scrumptious specialties for you to taste. Your knowledgeable guide will safely lead you, all the while sharing stories about Barcelona life, food and history. You will enjoy all the cuisine, and, due to the small size of the group, you will also enjoy a more personal, relaxed experience. Our tour groups are typically no larger than 6; meaning we can discreetly visit venues loved by locals and genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Indeed, by the end of the night we usually feel we’ve made lifelong friends!

Coding for Kids - P101+P102: Scratch 1+2 Course (Ages 10-12) @ Parkway Parade

Step into the World of Programming Specially designed for curious young minds who are new to coding / programming: This course introduces a must-have skill to equip your children with, for their futures. We believe in engaging children to be thinkers and creators through hands-on and project-based learning, for a purpose. Students will design their own interactive stories, animations and gaming ideas using Scratch, a visual programming language. Students will combine visual blocks creatively and instruct the computer to breathe their creations to life. The beauty in what we teach is not the language that matters, but the practice of thinking through a problem and applying a solution. Advance to the next Scratch Level Level Up your Scratch skills: Scratch 2 is a natural progression for students to hone their skills from Scratch 1. Your child will be able to reiterate concepts with more challenging activities (practice makes perfect!) and realize their childhood dreams of building the coolest game or exciting blockbuster-like animation. Combining game design fundamentals and in-depth programming knowledge, they will design their own animations and culminate in creating a project of their own during the exciting hackathon.
