All Art Arizona 2020

This year’s All Art Arizona presents exciting work created by both well-known and emerging artists living in our own back yard, the state of Arizona.   This ten year tradition at Art Intersection highlights the breadth and diversity of art created by Arizona artists. The range of acceptable artwork encompasses sculpture, glass, photography, painting, ceramics, wood, printmaking, mixed media, artist books, and more.  All Art Arizona attracts artists, art collectors, and art lovers from all over the state to one of our best known exhibitions of the year. Visit the Art Intersection galleries, bring your friends and family, to enjoy this unique exhibition and range of art by Arizona artists.  As always, the exhibition is free and open to the public during business hours. While you are here, get involved by voting for the Viewer’s Choice Award, to be announced shortly after the exhibition closes. Monster Royal Burger Contest ***$150 first place prize***

On Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM, B & R’s Old Fashioned Burgers, located at 3512 Rosecrans Avenue, Hawthorne, CA 90250 will host its Fifth Annual Monster Royal Eat-Off Competition. Prior year’s participants have included employees from Unisys Corporation, Mike Hicks and Tony Sanchez, as well as other B&R customers and it’s always a huge success. One of our previous winners, Tony Breckenridge devoured the Monster Royal Burger, which is the Signature Sandwich of B&R’s Old-Fashioned Burgers in an amazing time of two minutes twenty seconds (2:20).

Working with Children in Rugby Union is a rewarding experience, and this qualification course offers guidance on developing the whole child through the game. It will qualify you to coach and referee (game coaching) children in Rugby Union; through your work you will be better able to develop core skills and core values in young players in an active, purposeful, enjoyable and safe environment.  Dates Monday 10th Feb (9am-5pm), Tuesday 11th Feb (9am-5pm) Aims On completion coaches will be able to: Demonstrate equitable qualities appropriate to the role and responsibilities of rugby union coach of children Understand the principles of coaching Know how to plan, establish and maintain a safe coaching environment Understand how to plan and support the delivery of activities that are age and stage appropriate for all players Understand how to develop own coaching practice Outline This course is organised by approved coaching centres and delivered by SRU accredited coach educators. It will last approximately 19 hours (14 hours on course, 5 hours home study) and coaches must attend the full course to receive the final qualification Assessment This course is competence based and involves on-course appraisal. It involves both classroom and outdoor practical activities, where coaches will be expected to participate fully in all sessions.
