Japantown San Francisco Food Tour Explores One of the Last US Japantowns
San Francisco is home to one of only three remaining Japantowns in the United States, and our guides, some of them born in the neighborhood and residents for decades, take total pleasure in showing it off to locals and visitors alike. Tastes may include sweet potato lattes from YakiniQ Café; onigiri (rice balls); takoyaki (Japanese street food) from Yama-Chan; sweet and savory mochi from one of Japantown’s first businesses, Benkyodo Confections; and authentic Masala dosa with chutney from DOSA on Fillmore. After the tour, you’ll be the expert on where to find the best bites in the neighborhood.
Course Description:
Build the skills needed to become a high-performing team member of an Agile Release Train (ART)—and learn how to collaborate effectively with other teams—by becoming a SAFe® 4 Practitioner (SP). During this two-day course, attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of the ART, how it delivers value, and what they can do to effectively perform their role using Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
They will also learn how to write stories and break down features, plan and execute iterations, and plan Program Increments. Finally, they’ll learn about the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, how to effectively integrate with other teams in the program, and what it takes to continuously improve the train.
Learning Goals:
To perform the role of a SAFe® Practitioner, attendees should be able to:

Can I bring books from home for the event?
You will be able to bring in books from home, though we will also have an event bookseller available, and we encourage you to support their presence by purchasing titles from your favorite authors onsite.

Though all tickets will be non-refundable, they are fully transferrable through April 1st, 2020 should you need to resell/transfer your ticket(s).

In order to attend the KissCon Weekend Affair, you must have a paid ticket. We will not allow anyone without a ticket to enter, or participate in any scheduled events.
