What is it?
A TeachMeet is an organised but informal meeting for teachers to share best practice, teaching innovations and personal experiences of teaching. Participants volunteer to discuss a strategy they have implemented over the past year, or discuss a product that has enhanced their classroom practice. This is the perfect opportunity to share, network and learn with your peers in an informal setting. The event is intended, and free, for educators. If you are not an educator we welcome you to join for $100USD.

To inspire each other with interesting and useful ideas.
To develop and maintain a network of partners in teaching and learning.
To share ideas and strategies to use in the classroom and beyond.
Event Format
Networking with wine,beer and cheese
Micro-presentations – lasting 5 minutes

During the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey season, the DICK'S Sporting Goods Box Office at PPG Paints Arena will be open: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Sundays that are event days will vary based on the event time but opening hours will always be 10:00 AM with the Box Office remaining open up through the start of the event.

One of our most popular pottery class you will learn a variety of hand building techniques such as pinching and coiling that allow you to transform a block of clay into a teapot. Once fired you will have a usable teapot which you can show off to your friends and your next tea party!
Great for beginners, bucket listers or those who want a quick startup on learning to hand build pottery.

Dear all,
By popular demand, I'm going to do another blind tasting, New World vs. Old World, but limited to Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from Burgundy and its global competitors. The names of the wines will be revealed after people have tasted and voted and the overall winner--Burgundy or Rest of World--will be proclaimed at the end.
We will taste at least eight wines from different parts of Burgundy, which we visited this April.
The tasting costs 40 euros and is limited to the first 13 people who register via Eventbrite.
