In this 2 hour retreat, you will learn: How to search for knitting books at any public library in Singapore. What are the main different types of knitting publications. How to find and identify knitting patterns that are suitable for your own level of skill. How to find and identify knitting patterns that can take your current level of skill one step further. How to judge whether a pattern is realistically doable and when it is just a mere fantasy. How to access current knitting magazines online for free. How to access knitting ebooks for free. How to figure out what type of yarn and needles you need for a chosen pattern. How to figure out substitutes if you don't have exactly what the pattern calls for. No knitting materials are required. Please bring your library card, smartphones and tablets (e.g. iPad) if you have them.  This is a fun and relaxing trip to the library for knitters of any age, and any level of knitting experience.
