Infant/child/adult CPR & First Aid Class (CPR w/ AED cert optional) @ WWM

Class begins with infant and child accident prevention. If you're a parent, grandparent, or caregiver/nanny, baby proofing tips are essential. We always teach how to properly call the 911 system and we will advise you of what phone numbers to have in emergencies as well as what to have in your first aid kit. Then we teach Infant/Child/Adult CPR and choking. You will receive hands on practice on our state of the art mannequins. Finally, you will learn common first aid emergencies.     You can also receive a 2 year AHA Heartsaver CPR with AED certification. Learn CPR for Infant/Child/Adult along with how to use an Automated External Defibrillator and a pocket mask. The certification is suggested for caregivers, daycare providers, school teachers, gym teachers, camp counselors, life guards, coast guards, gym fitness instructors or personal trainers.   Cancellation Policy   CPR and First-aid classes are non-refundable within 7 days of class. If you would like to cancel before that time, you will receive an 85% refund. Baby Be Safe and parnter sites are not responsible for issuing any credit for classes missed as a result of scheduling conflicts, vacations, illness, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control.   In the special circumstance that a mother-to-be who has registered for the class is placed on bedrest or delivers her baby before 37 weeks, she and her partner may reschedule for a future CPR and First-Aid course at no cost.     // Powered by SelectionLinks about this ad

Parents/Caregivers 18 years or older will register each child and have one of the following IDs, NYS Benefit Card, Birth Certificate, Social security card, or Court Order Custody Document. Adults without children need to register too.  The JPC Food Pantry is not limited by territory or a boundary area. Our Pantry is the only designated pantry open in the late afternoon & evening hours. Therefore, you can live in Utica. Rome, the Mohawk Valley, and all other surrounding areas can participate in the JPC Christmas Food Boxes and PresentsGiveaway. Unfortunately, there is no online or phone registration and no transportation services. Please have your relatives, friends, or case managers, if applicable, bring you.
