[Advanced Knitting Series]
Mosaic knitting is the art of creating mosaic designs as you knit with 2 contrasting yarn colours. It makes a super fun project, way much more fun than just knitting plain 'ol alternating colour stripes. Take your knitting skills one step further with mosaic knitting today!
In this 2 hour lesson, you will learn:
The characteristics of a mosaic knitting piece.
How to select yarn colours so that your mosaic knitting will look fabulous.
How to read and follow a basic mosaic knitting pattern.
How to do mosaic knitting in garter stitch vs stockinette stitch.
How to correct errors in mosaic knitting.
How to design your very own mosaic knitting pattern to make a unique piece.
All knitting materials will be provided. If you have your own, feel free to bring them along.

What is "Advanced Knitting Series" about?
Lessons under the advanced knitting series are for those who already have the basic knitting skills and would like to take their skills up one step further. If you are interested to start learning how to knit, we do have a Knitting for Beginners class which would be more suitable for you, before you attend this one.
I only know how to knit garter stitch and stockinette stitch, and I've never knitted with 2 colours before. Is this too advanced for me?
As long as you have knitted before, this lesson is suitable for you to learn a new knitting skill.
Where is the lesson venue?
We will have it at a comfortable cafe that is convenient for both of us. You need not order anything if you don't want to.
When will the lesson be?
Generally, we are only available on:
Weekday evenings, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (Monday to Thursday only)
Weekends, anytime between 8.30am to 9.00pm
As this is a private lesson, after you purchase a ticket, we will get in touch with you via email to arrange a date and time that works out for both of us, so please ensure that you provide the correct email address when you make payment.
How long is the lesson?
The lesson is 2 hours long.
Can I bring along a friend for this private class?
We only offer one-to-one instruction so that you will get the undivided attention of the instructor and be able to learn at a pace that is comfortable just for you.
Can I bring my child along?
As you will need to focus on the lesson, you are advised to make arrangements for your child so that you can attend the lesson on your own.
Can I bring my own knitting needles and yarn?
Sure! And please bring along the paper label that came with your yarn, if you still have it.

The Box Office is located on the North-East corner of the building (across from The Lexus Parking Garage). The Box Office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am-5pm and event days starting at 10am. Concert tickets are not available for purchase at the American Airlines Center Box Office on the day of the public on-sale. Tickets for such non-team events may be purchased by the general public on the first day of ticket sales online at www.ticketmaster.com.
