The Southern Baptist Conference of Associational Leaders (SBCAL) has a long-standing relationship with the SBC, its agencies, institutions, and associations. It is recognized as the foremost networking, fellowship, and equipping organization for the 1100 Southern Baptist associations across North America. The SBCAL sponsors an Annual Conference a couple of days prior to the Annual Meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) each year in the city where the SBC is meeting.     The purpose of the SBCAL is to equip, encourage, and inspire Associational Leaders while providing opportunities for fellowship, networking, new DOM Training, and peer-to-peer learning.     Future Conference Dates and Cities include: June 15-16, 2021 Nashville, TN June 14-15, 2022, Anaheim, CA June 13-14, 2023, Charlotte, NC June 11-12, 2024, Indianapolis, IN   FAQ's and Policies: Spouse Admission: Spouses are invited to participate in the conference free of charge. The London Ear: guided walk through the City of London and its sounds

The London Ear guided walk explores the sounds of the City of London on a Sunday morning. The walk blends real-time listening with stories about sounds from the City’s past and insights into how London might sound in the future.   What to expect Tour goers will: explore the area between St Paul’s Cathedral and Liverpool Street Station, with its ancient ways, hidden back alleys and futuristic skyscrapers. take time to really listen to the sounds of the City, like the ringing of St Paul's Cathedral bells and the bustle of Petticoat Lane street market. find out about past sounds that have characterized the area, like the birdsong that triggered a bucolic hallucination and the metallic scraping commemorated in a street name. hear about how London's soundscape is designed and managed, and ways that it is changing. The walk contains stories, insights and surprises for those whose ear isn’t technically trained alongside the more musically minded. Tour goers will be guided to refine their ear for the City and pay attention to what they usually filter out. The London Ear is led by Rosie Oliver. A keen London listener, Rosie divides her time between leading Dotmaker walks and producing spoken audio features. Listen to Rosie introduce the walk in this 2 minute podcast.
