Level 1 ISAK Anthropometry

The Level 1 ISAK Anthropometry Course is designed for sport and exercise science students, nutritionists, sports rehabilitators or physiotherapists who need to carry out anthropometric profiling of clients. Content Whilst enrolled upon the course you will experience both practical and theoretical learning. Theoretical components of the course include topics such as anatomy, body composition and somatotype. Practical application includes the measurement of a Restricted Profile (height, mass, eight skinfolds, five girths, two breadths) adhering to the standard required by ISAK. You will study how measures enable the monitoring of health and growth variables and calculation of somatotype. More information The course will run over 3 days from 09:00 – 17:30 (The course will finish at 16:00 on the Sunday).  Full course fee is £400. Weight of Words by Nova High School

The Weight of Words, written by students from Nova High School and supported through the Lovewell Institute of the Creative Arts, is a musical that has been performed for over 15,000 Broward County students, parents and educators. This unique multi-disciplinary anti-bullying performance is a “call to action” for all audience members. Schools will be provided with follow-up curriculum from the Diversity Outreach and Prevention Department for schools to continue the conversation regarding bystander behavior and to assist them in developing a student-led action plan. The Weight of Words is a truly unique theatrical performance that will transform any audience into agents of change.
