ART EBИNNALE in Venice 2021

Alternative AntiArt PARTY for the opening week of 59th La Biennale di Venezia 2021, curated by independent organisers.  The name, Ebinnale, is both a cry and light-hearted protest against the formalities of the Venice Biennale. For one night, under the bedsheets of Venice, a reactionary fracture in space will play host to a celebration of the alter ego. Speculate on and embrace your own corruption, as Ebinnale provides the opportunity to go beyond one’s imagination. The idea behind Ebinnale originated from numerous conversations with young creatives living in different cities - London, Kiev, Moscow, Tokyo and Venice - about the different aesthetic forms of artistic expression. Zarina Kostelman and Ekaterina Tereshkina, the event's curators, present a  festival program comprised of thirteen events that thrust attendees into an immersive atmosphere, providing opportunities to communicate in an environment stripped of formality. Ebinnale has the high goal of showcasing and questioning contemporary art, whilst uniting people, generations and countries. The interior of the Chiesetta della Misericordia, built in the 10th century, was originally constructed as a church, but since the 20th century has been used for private events, including the “praise of art as a religion.” Ebinnale will juxtapose the building’s solidity with an interior fragility, contrasting the church’s marble columns and warm light with weightless curtains, transparent linen and a blanket of fog - the aesthetics of Ebinnale will create a platform for unity, and the struggle of opposites. Holiday Gift Collective brings together seven East Bay female artisans in Lafayette, CA San Francisco, CA – With a global pandemic and wave of fires, many small businesses have shuttered under the conditions, while others have united in finding new ways to sustain themselves and support their local communities through their crafts. Contra Costa County recently moved into Tier 2, allowing for the return of indoor retail shopping under state guidelines. The artisans and women behind Holiday Gift Collective are thrilled at the opportunity to safely showcase their goods and boost their local economy just in time for the holidays. The idea for Holiday Gift Collective was born from the shared values of each of the participating artisans as well as from the #shoplocal movement which encourages people to invest in their communities with the goal of strengthening the economy. Holiday Gift Collective is a union in support of community and equality, and will offer home goods, jewelry, gourmet foods, and more. In addition to continuing to pave the path for aspiring female entrepreneurs, Holiday Gift Collective hopes to encourage the community to work together in the fight against climate change. Brands such as Planet Renu, SIP, and Hofssi Chocolates will be presenting a variety of eco-friendly and ethically sourced products. Joining the list of green businesses will be Hollie's Homegrown, a local organic herb farm on a mission to create the highest quality herbal food and body products. This year’s All Art Arizona presents exciting work created by both well-known and emerging artists living in our own back yard, the state of Arizona.   This ten year tradition at Art Intersection highlights the breadth and diversity of art created by Arizona artists. The range of acceptable artwork encompasses sculpture, glass, photography, painting, ceramics, wood, printmaking, mixed media, artist books, and more.  All Art Arizona attracts artists, art collectors, and art lovers from all over the state to one of our best known exhibitions of the year. Visit the Art Intersection galleries, bring your friends and family, to enjoy this unique exhibition and range of art by Arizona artists.  As always, the exhibition is free and open to the public during business hours.
