Jussie Smollett from EMPIRE is a panelist in a Producing/Creating In Hollywood panel.
Featuring a performance by Lexi who released the album Just Listen through MotownGospel.
For the first time ever the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) and NATPE's Educational Foundation team have partnered with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts (NHFA) to present a very special event designed to spotlight diversity awareness in entertainment.
All proceeds to benefit the NATPE Educational Foundation in order to teach students and young professionals the best ways to pursue a career in content.

Limited Seating Available.
Must be at least 18 years old or older to attend this event.
NATPE is working closely with the NAACP’s Hollywood bureau and the NHFA, local universities and other diversity focused youth organizations, and expect an auditorium filled to capacity.
This is an opportunity to educate and inspire the next generation of content creators, and give them access and in-person experience with leaders in the entertainment community.

I have a conflict in my schedule and won't be able to attend a session I really wanted to see; does NATPE record the sessions?



NATPE live streams select sessions and subsequently archives those same sessions online for later viewing.  Various sessions are recorded and posted to NATPE's YouTube channel for viewing after the conference.  Curated Playlists are made available to NATPE Members.

Part 1  Keynote Address, A career in Hollywood today with Tyler Perry
Part 2  Living the Dream:  Producing/Creating in Hollywood:  A panel conversation with the industry's top talent, producers, writers and executives to discuss ways diversity becomes an integral part of the story.
Part 3  Celebration of Creativity - NAACP has selected three (3) projects from its various youth organizations to conduct a "live" pitch/note session with leading industry executives











Attendee Cancellation PolicyAll Registrations are Final. NATPE will provide No Refunds if you are unable to attend.





I paid my registration fee but now I have to cancel my trip; can I transfer my registration to someone else?



Substitutions must be sent in writing by January 11, 2019. After January 11, 2019 substitutions will only be accepted onsite and will incur a $100 administrative fee.
