INTRODUCTIONIn this workshop we will explorefamiliar Yoga poses together with a partner. ====================WHY PARTNER YOGA?Partner Yoga is two or more people joining together to deepen the impact and experience of a yoga practice. The primary component that differentiates partner practice from individual practice is touch. We touch and are touched by others. We use traction and leverage, and the kinesthetic awareness that comes from touch, to open to greater depths in our bodies and our psyches.- via Elysabeth Williamson=====================WHAT DOES THE PRACTICE LOOK LIKE?From gentle stretches to twists, standing balance and core strengthening postures we explore how a helping hand can affect our postures. WHAT ELSE?Aside to this, on a greater philosophical and emotional level, we learn how to balance our incoming and outgoing energy - balance giving and receiving. We learn how to communicate our own needs and to hear those of the other.CAN I COME ON MY OWN?Bring a partner or come on your own. We have enough space for everyone. Throughout the practice we will change partners.
