What does the use of artificial intelligence look like in everyday hospital life? What is already possible today, where are the challenges and opportunities? This Meetup is supported by Aicura Medical, IBM PowerAI Vision and HelloSignals and is a teaser event for this year's www.healthhackathon.com at the Xpomet from 10-12 October in Berlin. The focus of the hackathon will be on medical technology, hospital management, care and health insurance and will bring together about 100-150 working medical-affine programmers and digital-affine physicians from hospitals, companies and insurance companies. We want to integrate Deep and Machine Learning as well as Blockhchain and other technologies into today's health challenges. Let's start by bringing some light into the world of Artificial Intelligence: Agenda for the Meetup: Welcome Drinks 6:30pmStart 7:00pm Welcome HelloSignals and presentation healthhackathon.com by Clemens Pompeÿ Lecture 1 (15min)  "How can we bridge the gap between data driven research and clinical practice by making A.I. more than a hype?" (Janis Reinelt Aicura Medical) Lecture 2 (15min)  IBM PowerAI Vision LiveDemo (Ulrich Oymann & Marvin Giessing (IT Architect, Cognitive Systems)) Lecture 3 (15min) AI at the Charité Hospital (Prof. Felix Balzer (MD: Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Head of "Data Science in Perioperative Care" research group)) Panel (60min) AI in everyday hospital life: Challenges and opportunitiesParticipants: Prof. Felix Balzer (Data Science perioperative care and Chef der Data Science Gruppe Charité Anesthesia) Dr. Akira Poncette (Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Co-Organisator Hacking Health Berlin) Janis Reinelt (Founder Aicura Medical) Marvin Giessing (IBM IT Architect, Cognitive Systems) Moderation: Clemens Pompeÿ (The Impact Farm) Q&A (20min) Networking until 10pm
