Feel the beat and feed your soul with fantastic tunes and food from around the world at the City of Wanneroo’s fan favourite, Global Beats & Eats.
On Saturday 16 March, Paloma Park in Marangaroo will transform into a family fiesta for foodies and a mecca for music lovers, with headline act and Aussie roots royalty The Beautiful Girls taking centre stage.
Since forming in 2001, The Beautiful Girls have wooed fans of roots, reggae and alt rock the world over. Five studio albums and several world tours later, The Beautiful Girls will get Marangaroo Park pumping with their melting pot of reggae and funk-infused tunes.
A host of other awesome acts flesh out an awesome line-up, including king of groove Ash Grunwald and blues crooner Mia Dyson. Blending street funk and Nigerian Afrobeat, and hot on the heels of their latest record Commandments, Melbourne seven-piece band The Seven Ups will bring the funk, while Perth’s own alt-folk staple Riley Pearce is set to deliver laid-back, breezy feels.
Then, when hunger starts to set in, a fleet of 20 food trucks will offer a whole world of flavour, from wood-fired pizzas to crunchy churros and Asian fusion. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options will be available.
Global Beats & Eats is a FREE family-friendly event – but tickets are essential! Be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
