Naka-Kon is an annualthree-dayconvention that celebrates diverse elements of Japanese popular culture, including anime, manga, cosplay, gaming, fashion and music. We also present educational activities that explore traditional Japanese culture. Naka-Kon is held in Overland Park, Kansas, and is the largest and oldest anime convention in the greater Kansas City metro area.
We strongly recommend reading the registration pages on our website for complete details about how to register, where to pick up badges, group discounts, and other useful information.
Leaders of established clubs and organizations, sponsored by schools, libraries and non-profit groups, are urged to read the Group Registration information on the website before completing their group registration.

At Convention Sales
Badges will also be available for purchase at the door during the convention. See naka-kon.com/registration for more information.
Single Day Badges
Single day badges for Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be available for sale at the door during the convention on the day they will be used. While not listed on Eventbrite at this time, day badges will also be available online after 9:30 p.m. the night before the badge will be used.
All sales are final and we do not offer refunds no matter the reason. Although purchasing pre-registration badges does save you money, we recommend that you wait to purchase the badge until you are sure that your schedule and finances will work out for that weekend.
Adult Escorts Required for Children
Attendees age 12 and under must be accompanied at all times by an adult chaperone. The adult chaperone must be present to pick up the child's badge.
You may give or sell your badge to someone who can attend, but you must request a Badge Transfer Form from Naka-Kon Registration, then submit the completed form so we can transfer the registration. If the transfer is not in our records, the recipient will not be able to pick up the badge. The deadline for badge transfers is January 31, 2019.
Your badge is valuable and it is your responsibility to keep it secure. Naka-Kon will not refund or replace badges that are lost or stolen. Attendees who lose their badges must purchase a replacement badge to re-enter the convention.
Some activities such as the Maid Cafe and Formal Gala are not included in the price of convention badges, and tickets for these events must be purchased separately.
