Q: Will there be overflow parking?
A: No. There is no safe location available, though Rolling Hills Community Church, should have sufficient parking to meet the needs of the capacity of the building. PARKING IS NOT ALLOWED ON BORLAND ROAD OR ANY OF THE NEARBY STREETS, and it is possible that law enforcement may feel it necessary to take action which could include having cars towed at the owner’s expense.
Q: Do I have to pre-register?
A: Please do. Pre-registration, along with the preprinting of your free registration ticket, assures the fastest possible entry into the event and provides the most efficient management of the occupancy of the facility. While we will have on-site registration available if space allows, we will not be equipped to register crowds of people in a timely manner.
Q: Do I have to preprint my tickets?
A: Yes! Please print tickets for each day you are attending. If you forget your ticket, we will be equipped to print you another ticket. Keep in mind that the more individuals that forget their tickets, the longer the line will be to obtain a ticket for entry. Please go to the main entrance for check-in with your pre-printed ticket.
Q: Can I check-in with a paperless ticket on my smart phone?
A: No. We understand that Eventbrite's software automatically indicates that there is the option to check-in with a paperless ticket via your smart phone. However, we have chosen to utilize printed tickets as name tags and as a method of security.
Q: Will the workshops and plenary sessions be recorded?
A: Yes. However, due to the sensitivity of some ministries, a few workshops may not be available post-conference. While we do apologize for this inconvenience, we also ask for your understanding as we protect these ministries.
Workshops and plenary speaker sessions that are recorded will be available soon after the event is completed. Please watch our website, www.missionconnexion.com, for availability within a week or two after the end of the conference.
Q: Will there be food available to purchase?
A: Yes. We will be providing meals for sale Friday evening and Saturday for lunch and dinner with a gluten-free option available. There will be no pre-ordered meals this year. Meals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Food sales and distribution will be available downstairs in the basement.
Also, Rolling Hills will be selling breakfast items and snacks as well as providing a full drink menu from their Atrium Café. They will not be distributing meals or providing sales support for the meals.
Q: What about children, children's activities? Do they have to register as well? Will the Global Fair be back?
A: Yes, by very popular demand, the Children’s Global Fair, specifically created for elementary-age children, will be back! It's a great place for children to be introduced to missions' concepts in thought-provoking ways under parental supervision. Look for this Saturday from 11:00am-2:30pm and from 4:30pm-6:30pm.
As always, we do ask children age 12 and up to register.
