Non c’è uno Shakespeare delle storielle. Chi le racconta si prende la responsabilità di riscriverle in quel preciso momento. Ma anche l’ascoltatore diventa implicitamente un autore. Appena ascoltata, può a sua volta diventare un raccontatore e dunque un nuovo autore che la cambia, reinterpreta e improvvisa. MODALITÀ DI ESIBIZIONELo spettacolo avrà una storia di base che verrà usata come cornice, ma ogni volta le singole storie cambieranno per salvaguardare la modalità improvvisativa. Infatti il narratore ha un proprio repertorio, ma non lo riproduce mai per intero, né tantomeno con la stessa sequenza. Il testo di riferimento sarà un corpus di oltre duecento storie. Un grande contenitore che non viene mai mostrato per intero, ma sempre per frammenti: quelli utili alla narrazione di quella singola replica. IL MONDO IN UNA BARZELLETTALe barzellette hanno attraversato il mondo e le culture vestendosi dell’abito locale, ma portando con sè elementi pescati ovunque. La stessa struttura di una storiella sarda che racconta la lite tra vicini la ritroviamo in una barzelletta cecoslovacca sull’invasione russa del ‘68. I carabinieri italiani in Francia diventano belgi. I tirchi sono scozzesi o genovesi e, un po’ ovunque, ebrei. Le barzellette sugli afroamericani quando arrivano in Italia finiscono sul corpo degli zingari. Se ne racconti solo un paio rischi di fare il gioco dei razzisti. Ma se ne metti in fila tante dimostri che nelle storielle c’è anche una grande compassione. Ci ricordano infatti che possiamo ridere di tutto e soprattutto di noi. UNO SPETTACOLO PER TUTTI DA FARE DAPPERTUTTONon tutte le storielle sono per tutti e per ogni luogo, ma ogni luogo può accogliere molte storielle e ogni persona può ascoltarne tantissime.Perciò l’idea che sta alla base di questo spettacolo è che possa essere rappresentato ovunque e per qualsiasi spettatore.È una modalità che adottiamo da sempre. Abbiamo fatto spettacoli nelle scuole, nelle fabbriche, in strada, in ospedale, nei bar, in miniera, in treno e in molti altri luoghi apparentemente non teatrali. Con questo contiamo di fare un altro passo avanti. UNO SPETTACOLO APERTODa sempre penso le mie storie partendo dal teatro, ma spostandomi in molti altri linguaggi. Appunti per un film sulla lotta di classe nasce come spettacolo, ma diventa un film per il Festival di Roma e un disco che ha vinto il Premio Ciampi. Anche Pecora Nera nasce in teatro, ma è diventato libro e film alla mostra di Venezia. I racconti della Fila Indiana nascono in televisione e solo dopo essere passati dal teatro diventano libro.Le Barzellette provengono già da fuori del teatro. Nascono come libro con l’editore Einaudi e in teatro diventeranno uno spettacolo aperto soprattutto alla collaborazione con i musicisti. Una piccola stazione terminale. I treni arrivano e tornano indietro perché i binari si interrompono. Un vecchio ferroviere parla al becchino del paese in attesa di un morto di lusso. Un emigrante che ha fatto fortuna all’estero e, ora che è morto, sta tornando al paese per farsi seppellire. Nell’attesa il ferroviere racconta le sue barzellette, quelle che ha raccolto dai viaggiatori. Gente sconosciuta che arriva e riparte senza lasciare nient’altro che le proprie storie buffe.E perché le ha raccolte? Per far ridere il capostazione.Nel tempo il vecchio ferroviere s’è innamorato delle sue storielle e non sappiamo se un giorno le racconterà davvero all’uomo per il quale sono state raccolte. O forse gliele ha già raccontate.Forse il capostazione è lui. Forse non c’è nemmeno una stazione, il treno non arriverà mai e il becchino è venuto per seppellire proprio il barzellettiere.L’unica certezza è che quel vecchio non riesce a starsene zitto.
