Holiday Tea

‘Tis the season to be jolly and there is no better place to celebrate than in the great hall of a mountain top castle. This season, gather friends and family for Holiday Tea, a much anticipated Cherokee Ranch tradition. Enjoy a seasonal menu of tea choices, finger sandwiches and treats, and of course, scones with clotted cream and jam. After tea, embark on a journey through the past as our wonderful docents guide you on a tour through the castle.

Dress attire encouraged. No alternate children’s price. High chairs and boosters are not provided. Tea Service gratuity appreciated. All sales are final. Additional party members cannot be added once an event is Sold Out. The majority of the tour takes place on the main level of the Castle which is ramp accessible. The second floor is stair accessible only.

TEAM-DAY hält für jeden etwas bereit. Praxisorientiert werden sich die Referenten-Paare intensiv mit ihrem Thema auseinandersetzen und Anwendungen, Vorzüge sowie Limitationen diskutieren. Hierbei geht es nicht darum, eine Vorgehensweise zu bewerten, sondern vielmehr um ein „Pro & Contra“ basierend auf fundierten Fakten und evidenzbasiertem Wissen herauszuarbeiten.  Konzept Die Referenten aus Praxis, Labor, Dentaltechnologie und Wissenschaft werden in Teamvorträgen ihre Thematik darlegen. Ziel der Gegenüberstellung ist eine aktuelle Standortbestimmung, die anschließend kontrovers diskutiert werden soll. Im interaktiven Diskussionsformat treten die Teilnehmer in den direkten Austausch mit den Expertinnen und Experten auf der Bühne. Targeting Excellence in Science Learning

The Association for Science Education (UK) in partnership with Philip Harris and Bangkok Patana School is hosting a conference on “Targeting Excellence in Science Learning” in February 2020.  Very rarely in Asia do we get such a superb CPL opportunity for Primary and Secondary science educators and school science technicians. Keynote speakers include Professor Sir John Holman - ASE President and lead author of the EEF 'Improving Secondary Science' report, Professor Christine Harris - Chair of the ASE Research Committee and specialist in assessment and cognitive acceleration, Jane Turner - Director of the Primary Science Quality Mark initiative and Ian Stuart - former teacher and founder/CEO of Atomic School which is a pioneering initiative bringing complex physics concepts to the primary classroom. The conference also features a special strand for technicians including workshops by Philip Harris' chief product developer.
