Be sure to bookmark it! This is a list to JOIN so you can be notified when classes are scheduled. Classes are held in Texas only. Registration fees vary and will be due at the time you register. Signing up here does not register you for any class and does not guarantee a spot in the class you are interested in. You will need to complete your registration and payment on the new forum. Be sure to add @eventbrite.com as an accepted email domain so your updates don't end up in spam. 2019 Classes available: NEW!   Lactation Principles (1 day, $35, held every odd-numbered month, no pre-requisites) NEW!   Advanced Lactation Management (2 days, $65, held every even-numbered month in same location as Principles class, 1 pre-requisite class) *  The newly developed classes above will have minimal lecture time and more interaction throughout the day. Effective January 1, 2020, an increase of $10 per class will begin. Clinical Lactation Practicum (free 2-day class for Texas WIC Staff) Begin at the Lactation Support Centers (LSC) in Austin, Dallas, or Houston then head over to the hospital. Day 1 - hospital, Day 2 - LSC clinic. Observing/shadowing RN, IBCLC. 2 pre-requisite classes. NEW!   Clinical Lactation Skills for RNs (1-day class, $75, geared towards RNs working in Maternal Child Health or a Baby Friendly Hospital, others considered).
