In diesem interaktiven Workshop analysieren wir mithilfe von Erkenntnissen aus der Spieltheorie, wie Verhandlungen ablaufen. Indem wir lernen sie als Spiele zu begreifen, eröffnen wir uns völlig neue Möglichkeiten, Verhandlungen zum Erfolg zu führen. In praktischen Übungen testen wir die neuen Erkenntnisse dann anhand einer systematischen Methode und lernen, sie in die Tat umzusetzen.
Verhandlungen als Spiele zu verstehen, bedeutet
1. Regeln zu erkennen, die unser Verhalten beeinflussen 2. innerhalb dieser Regeln neue kreative Lösungswege zu finden 3. die Regeln in unserem Sinne zu verändern
So definieren wir nicht nur Verhandlungen neu, sondern erschließen uns auch ein ganz neues Verhaltensrepertoire. Denn obwohl der spielerische Umgang mit unserem Gegenüber hoch effektiv ist und zudem auch noch Spaß machen kann, wird diese Strategie im Berufsleben meist völlig vernachlässigt. Wir werden Beispiele aus Ihrem Arbeitsleben reflektieren und den Ansatz dort testen, wo für Sie aktuell womöglich viel auf dem Spiel steht.
Die Methode, Verhandlungen als interaktives Spiel zu begreifen, basiert auf spieltheoretischen Ansätzen – diese werden wir durchleuchten und wo nötig auch in Frage stellen. Sie liefern uns die Analysewerkzeuge, um ansonsten nur schwer verständliches Verhalten anderer Menschen zu erschließen. Durch interaktive Übungen werden wir diese abstrakten Inhalte direkt und spielerisch in aktives Können übersetzen.

Dozent
Dr. Mark Young ist unabhängiger Berater, Trainer, Publizist und Dozent, spezialisiert auf dem Gebiet der Verhandlungsführung und der Mediation. Als Geschäftsführer von Rational Games Inc. hilft er Klienten im öffentlichen Sektor und in der privaten Wirtschaft in Deutschland, USA und UK mit Seminaren, Coaching und Beratung bei schwierigen Transaktionen. Er promovierte zum Dr. Phil. an der Philosophischen Fakultät der Berliner Humboldt-Universität, mit Gastjahr im Program on Negotiation der Harvard University.
In der Praxis setzte er seinen Verhandlungsansatz als Kundenberater bei Chase Manhattan Bank, als strategischer Consultant bei McKinsey & Company, als Partner bei Price Waterhouse Corporate Finance und zuletzt als Trade Negotiator im US Department of Commerce ein. Als Verhandlungscoach arbeitet Dr. Young in Deutschland unter anderem mit der Mercator Stiftung und dem Auswärtigen Amt zusammen.
