Farmer Stan is hosting an outdoor concert at Spring Meadow Farms, featuring Carey Ziegler's Expensive Hobby. CZ's Expensive Hobby has a wide range of cover material, from A to Z, including Alan Parsons, The Beatles, Chicago, Crosby Stills & Nash, Steely Dan, Supertramp, Toto, Yes, Zappa and the list goes on, there is something for everyone. Gates will open at 6:00 pm. Seating will be General Admission (first come first serve) we are asking you to bring your own chairs, blankets and mask to help us comply with the CDC guidance. Come a little early and have dinner at Char'd Barbecue right on the premises. After dinner you can have a little dessert at The Bus Stop Ice Cream Shack. The main focus of the GARAD conference is to establish global partnerships and links between academic researchers and the poultry industry to improve joined up work in regards to preventing, controlling and combating avian diseases. The meeting will provide a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas around the single theme of exploiting available opportunities to deal with emerging and existing infectious avian diseases in poultry production systems and to safeguard food supplies and human health.
In the conference, it is planned to address basic, applied and commercial aspects of research on avian diseases. Therefore, we cordially invite all stakeholders including senior scientists and young researchers from academia, industry and government organisations involved in protecting and improving poultry health, welfare and production.
