Level Two: Working together to address domestic abuse - Developing Your Role in Identifying and Responding to Domestic Abuse
Participants must complete level one prior to attending this course
To establish a common group understanding of domestic abuse and how you might recognise it
Identify a victim’s level of risk using the Safe Lives Domestic Abuse Stalking and Honour Based Violence (DASH) Risk Indicator Checklist
Understand your role in relation to risk management and safety planning, promoting the coordinated, community response to domestic abuse
Understand your role in a whole family approach and multi-agency intervention
Be more aware of the core principles of the Safe and Together model of intervention with families affected by domestic abuse
Have a more informed response to perpetrators of domestic abuse
Agree ways in which you can optimise your own health and wellbeing when working with those affected by domestic abuse.
