2019 Bayesian Workshop Series
This series of lectures and labs is intended for biostatisticians with very little to no prior experience with Bayesian analyses. Our goal is to provide practical workshops that introduce statisticians to Bayesian principles and analytical tools which can be applied to basic statistical problems.
Expert instructors for the series will include:
- Veera Baladandayuthapani, Ph.D., Professor of Biostatistics
-  Niko Kaciroti, Ph.D. Research Scientist, Department of Biostatistics, Research Scientist, Center for Human Growth and Development, Research Scientist, Center for Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics
- Jian Kang, Ph.D., Associate Professor Biostatistics Department
- Ananda Sen, Ph.D., Lee A. Green Collegiate Research Professor, Department of Biostatistics, Research Professor, Department of Family Medicine
Here is some additional information:

Space will be limited to 30 participants.
Please see the attached syllabus for more information about the series.
You will need to obtain your manager's approval prior to registration.
It is expected that you will attend the lectures, labs, clinics, and give a presentation on your capstone project.
This class will be a commitment on your part but with the great instructors that will teach, it should be well worth your time. It's a FREE class but a short code is required to register for the event. The short code cannot be on a Federal grant.
Students are allowed to miss only one of the lecture/lab sessions offered September through December.  The R Workshop in August is optional provided student is proficient in R programming.  The January clinics are also optional.  Students must complete and present a capstone project in February; it is recommended for students to attend both February sessions.  Upon successful completion of the above requirements, the $500 course fee will be waived.
