The Steel Horse Shootout III features pro and amateur racing and officially makes the Steel Horse Rally a two-state event. This event helps raise donations for the Steel Horse Rally Inc. charity. Held in the Museum’s front Reading Room Gallery, it is a highly anticipated tradition. My Mount Faber & Sentosa Heritage Tour visits the military encampments, tunnel complexes and secret reservoirs constructed by the British at Mount Faber and Sentosa to defend their naval base in Keppel. Follow us on an adventure to the secret dungeons at the heart of our city and hear first-hand accounts of the former villagers and soldiers at Mt Faber and Sentosa. Level of Difficulty: 2.5/5 Who should come? Everyone is welcome to participate in this tour! However, this heritage tour requires participants to walk for four hours long and trek some hilly terrain.  We do not recommend young children, people with disabilities and unfit individuals to participate in this tour. Duration & Meeting Place Approximate Duration: 4 hours (8.30am to 12.30pm) Language: English Please arrive at Harbourfront Bus Interchange (Berth 12) 15 minutes before 8.30am. The tour guides will be wearing beach coloured T-shirts with a conspicuous "Guide" at the back of the shirt. The tour will proceed rain or shine. We have never cancelled our tours in the past 10 years, except for LKY. The tour will end at Fort Siloso and you will be taking the monorail to VivoCity. What to bring? Wear comfortable clothes and suitable hiking shoes for a 4 hour long walk. Bring along your headphones (compatible with headphone jack). These headphones are harmful to our environment and we are levying S$2 per headphone to encourage all participants to bring theirs. Bring along insect repellent, EZ-Link card, a bottle of water and an umbrella Asthmatic individuals are encouraged to bring their inhaler.
