Fundraise for us at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival by taking on either the marathon, half marathon, 10K or 5K. Or for those of you who would like to run as a team why not enter the team relay!
Take part in the UK’s fastest growing road race, while taking in this beautiful and historic city. Whether you are a keen or novice runner you will want to take part. We hope that you can raise plenty of money for us so we can fund life-changing type 1 diabetes research.
You can sign up to receive a guaranteed place in the marathon, half marathon, team relay, 10K or 5K. If you’ve got your own place but want to run for us, we’d be thrilled to have you on the team. Just let us know and we only ask that you raise as much sponsorship as you can.

To secure your place with us you need to do the following: Step 1: Pay your non-refundable registration fee to us. Step 2: Visit the Festival website to register your JDRF place with them. (If you have already completed this step then you should get confirmation of your place shortly.)

Pororo Park Singapore House Rules:
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children under their care at all times.
All children have to be accompanied by an adult for entry.
Guardians who are not parents must be at least 16 years of age.
Identification may be required as proof of age.
Socks must be worn at all times by all guests entering into the premise.
Admission is by per entry per person basis. Guests are required to settle the payment before entering the Park and to present the receipt upon departure for proof of entry time.
Strictly no swopping of adults after admission. Exchanging of adult requires a separate entrance fee.
Children less than 3 years old are not allowed on certain attractions without adult supervision. Children should play in the appropriate play zone for their age.
Please ensure your children are in good health before entering the Park. The management reserves the rights to refuse or remove entry to any person who appears to be unwell.
No outside food and drinks are allowed to be brought into the premise with the exception of baby formula.
Damages caused through bad, unruly behavior or misuse of the facilities will be charged to the guests.
Guests agree not to hold the owners, management and staff of Pororo Park Singapore liable for any injury or casualty that may be sustained at the Park. Use of all Pororo Park Singapore attractions are at visitors’ own risk.

In this 2 hour lesson, you will learn:
The differences between using circular needles and straight needles
How you can use just 1 circular needle to knit everything and anything
When to use different lengths of circular needles, and when the length doesn't matter
How to read a circular knitting pattern
How to cast-on stitches onto circular needles
How to knit flat pieces with circular needles
How to knit seamlessly, and continuously in the round with circular needles (e.g. seamless beanie cap)
How to knit in garter stitch using circular needles
How to knit in stockinette stitch using circular needles
By the end of the lesson, you will definitely be able to knit a simple cowl.
All knitting materials will be provided. If you have your own, feel free to bring them along.

What is "Advanced Knitting Series" about?
Lessons under the advanced knitting series are for those who already have the basic knitting skills and would like to take their skills up one step further. If you are interested to start learning how to knit, we do have a Knitting for Beginners class which would be more suitable for you, before you attend this one.
What is the minimum age requirement to attend this lesson?
This lesson is suitable for anyone age 10 years and above. The lesson will be conducted in English.
Where is the lesson venue?
We will have it at a comfortable cafe that is convenient for both of us. You need not order anything if you don't want to.
When will the lesson be?
Generally, we are only available on:
Weekday evenings, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (Monday to Thursday only)
Weekends, anytime between 8.30am to 9.00pm
As this is a private lesson, after you purchase a ticket, we will get in touch with you via email to arrange a date and time that works out for both of us, so please ensure that you provide the correct email address when you make payment.
How long is the lesson?
The lesson is 2 hours long.
Can I bring along a friend for this private class?
We only offer one-to-one instruction so that you will get the undivided attention of the instructor and be able to learn at a pace that is comfortable just for you.
Can I bring my child along?
As you will need to focus on the lesson, you are advised to make arrangements for your child so that you can attend the lesson on your own.
Can I bring my own circular knitting needles and yarn?
Sure! And please bring along the paper label that came with your yarn, if you still have it.
